Getting to the Lavedan in Pyrenees is quite simple:

- On the highway from Bordeaux to Toulouse, follow Tarbes when you see directions.
- When in Tarbes, follow the directions to Lourdes.
- When in Lourdes, follow the directions to Argelès-Gazost.
- At the end of the 2x2 lane inbetween Lourdes and Argeles, take the first exit on the first roundabout.
- At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit towards Pierrefitte Nestalas / Cauterets.
- Follow Cauterets, 2 km after entering Lau Balagnas, 1st campsite on your right.
